The recycled Australian timber is sanded and old blemishes are filled with black epoxy. It’s then finished with a clear matte polyurethane for a unique and smooth finish. The smooth ergonomic Moovment is powered by a super stable twin motor base frame in Black or White finish.

Our story
Born in 2015 out of a desire to find a smarter way to work, We Are Minimal began as a one-man operation based in Melbourne, Australia. After years of suffering from back pain as a result of long hours spent sitting at a desk in his work as a photographer, the founder of We Are Minimal began looking for a better option. Finding a lack of inspiration in the available home office furnishings, he began making desks himself.
Now comprising of a small team of dedicated makers, we pride ourselves on our high-quality, locally made designs.
Featuring a clean and minimal aesthetic, each of our unique pieces is lovingly crafted out of premium timber by local makers in Melbourne.
